Wax/Paraffin Inhibitors & Pour Point Depressants
These additives prevent deposition of paraffin and wax in pipelines, storage tanks, and transfer systems, ensuring uninterrupted flow of crude oil and refined products. Pour point depressants modify the crystallization of waxes, lowering flow temperature and reducing blockages. Chemistries typically include copolymers, surfactants, and polymeric dispersants tailored to the specific crude oil characteristics.
Asphaltene Dispersants
Asphaltene dispersants prevent the aggregation and deposition of heavy organic molecules in pipelines, maintaining flow and preventing blockages. They stabilize asphaltene particles in crude oil through surfactant or polymer-based chemistries, ensuring consistent transport and minimizing operational interruptions.
